Background: we need to take pills for malaria while we are on this trip. The first dosage is to be taken one week before the trip, each week during the trip and 4 weeks after the trip. The doctor suggested taking the pills on Mondays, and then you can always remember ‘Malaria Monday.’
With the onset of Malaria Monday, it means one thing – we are leaving soon! The excitement is growing; our tasks in preparation are coming to an end and packing is all we have left to do.

The malaria monday does not exist any longer, this was used during the Panama canal construction, malaria technically does not exist is a rare disease at present time.
