Meet the Team




Doug Moody, Team Leader (Barrie-Huronia)
An active Rotarian for over 20 years, Doug is a Past Club President, a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, and is actively involved in many Club events.  Doug owns and operates two Active Green + Ross Tire & Auto Centre franchises in Barrie, Ontario.  He is married to Joan and has two children – Jeffrey, age 21 and Alison, 19.


Alicia Rule (Englehart)
Alicia is a graduate of Carleton University and is pursuing a career in International Community Development.  Currently, she resides in Northern Ontario working as a volunteer manager and educator.  She is active in organized sports such as baseball, outdoor adventure and spending time with friends and family.


Curt Dunlop (Bracebridge)
A natural entertainer, Curt is a Proprietor of the distinctively charming Griffin Gastropub that specializes in serving craft beer and local food. Curt lives with his girlfriend in an off-grid house outside of Bracebridge, Ontario.  As well as being a talented musician, he enjoys hockey, softball and squash.



Kim Trudeau (Barrie-Huronia)
Kim is a secondary school teacher currently working in a mental health treatment program for high school students who have social, emotional and behaviour problems. After school hours, Kim runs a yoga program out of her husband’s Chiropractic office. She also teachers yoga throughout the city at a variety of facilities. In their spare time, Kim and her husband, Mark, enjoy music, camping, traveling and playing with their two Golden Retrievers.



Mark Carney (Barrie-Kempenfelt)
Mark is Structural Engineer that specializes in ‘heavy lift’ design, particularly the installation of bridges and large industrial equipment. Living in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, where he and his wife Jessica take every opportunity they have to ride horses, rock climb and take their Great Dane dog for walks in the forest.
