Manuel explains that the Spanish found many perfectly formed spherical 'stones' around the valley. They could not explain how the proportions were so accurate. We stop for a photo with one inside a very neat architectural room.
The ball doesn't seem too high, so I suggest maybe someone should get on top of it for a photo. The security guard is watching though...and dress pants and shoes don't lend themselves to jumping.
None of this is phasing Doug. He's doing it. And it's graceful, like a Rhino in a phonebooth.
Mission accomplished. With a few laughs. I think Doug might be sore tomorrow morning.
Thank you for your sense of adventure Doug. I doubt the security guard has seen anything like it before. He was unsure of how to handle us.
